What to Expect

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel.  Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful practice member relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

Your First Visit

Upon arriving at our new office, you will be greeted and given a tour of the facility. You will be asked to complete a few forms so that you can accurately share with the Doctor your current state of health. In consultation with Dr. Kirkwood, we will further evaluate your health to determine which type of evaluation and examination procedures will benefit your specific needs. Dr. Kirkwood will examine your spine and nervous system by utilizing detailed examination procedures with state of the art technology. Some of these tools include but are not limited to Surface Electromyography (EMG), and Computerized Infrared Thermography. After a thorough analysis and investigation, we may send you to the local radiologist for x-rays to be hand carried back to us. This procedure takes about an hour.

Regular Visits

Getting in and out quickly is easy for those not in the acute stages of their care. For those that require a little extra something, we have a variety of options that include exercise and stretching programs, traction, myofascial or massage therapy and customized wellness programs.

Dr. Pam Asks some important questions of interest to Salinas residents - Chiropractor Salinas Dr. Pam Asks...

How do chiropractors help ADHD?
There is agreement that ADHD is a nervous system disorder. And while chiropractic isn't a treatment for ADHD, if your child has subluxations, resolving them will often produce profound results. Click here to learn why more and more Salinas parents are choosing natural chiropractic care rather than dangerous psychotropic drugs.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimize our health and be all that you were designed to be.
